"The Social Blueprint" Podcast

As part of an 8th-grade project-based learning unit, the Thriving in Adolescence project culminates in a final podcast. Students were asked to explore the essential question: What helps us thrive in adolescence? Through reading, research, and interviews, they examined the different ways individuals find strength and positivity in their lives and identify common experiences that support adolescents. Students then collaborated in groups to create either a podcast or a video that highlights one key factor that has had a positive impact on each of them.

 Bel Air Middle School students in Mrs. Wollenweber’s 8th-grade class worked diligently to produce a thoughtful and articulate podcast titled “The Social Blueprint.”

 As part of this project, this podcast has been published—not only as an example of student work, but also as a way to help our community better understand the adolescent experience today.
